About us
The company Bukva Commercium d.o.o. was founded in 2008 and today has 40 employees. Our primary activity is the production and processing of sawn timber, as well as trading in wood and wood products.
Bukva Commercium d.o.o. operates at two locations – the sawmill is located in Drežnica, while the wood products warehouse is in Bakar.

In the Drežnica sawmill, 30 workers are employed. The sawmill’s cutting capacity is 20,000 m3 of logs annually, and within the sawmill complex there is also a dryer with a capacity of 200 m3, as well as a steaming facility with a total monthly capacity of 1,500 m3. We offer sawn timber from almost all types of domestic wood (beech, pine, hornbeam, oak, ash, maple, fir, spruce, etc.) in all standard dimensions and grades.

In Bakar, 10 workers are employed. The warehouse in Bakar spans 13,000m2, allowing us to store approximately 20,000 m3 of goods.

In addition to the production and processing of sawn timber, we also offer services of drying, steaming, and chemical treatment of wood, as well as storage and dispatch of wood and wood products. We assist in organizing domestic and international transportation of goods, as well as maritime and container transportation. The majority of our exports are directed towards the African and Asian markets, and this long-term collaboration has resulted in us receiving the Golden Key award for the best exporter to the Egyptian market in 2021.
We are also recipients of the “Zlatna kuna” plaque for the most successful commercial company in Karlovac County in 2021 (medium-sized commercial companies) as well as the Karlovac County plaque for 2022 for outstanding contribution in initiating and developing economic activities in Karlovac County. We also trade on the Croatian and European markets.
