In the heart of our offer is sawn timber, fresh and dry, sourced from various local types of wood, such as beech, pine, hornbeam, and many others. Regardless of your specific needs, we have timber in all standard dimensions and grades. Do you want steamed or non-steamed, edged or unedged timber? The choice is yours, and we are here to provide what you desire.
However, our services don’t stop at sawing timber. We also proudly produce pallets in various dimensions, which, if needed, can be thermally treated, ensuring their longevity and quality.

About us
The Bukva Commercium d.o.o. company was established in 2008 and today counts 40 employees. Our primary activity is the production and processing of sawn timber as well as the trade of wood and wood products.
Bukva Commercium d.o.o. operates at two locations – a sawmill in Drežnica, and in Bakar, a wood products storage yard.
Bukva Commercium d.o.o. supports ecologically responsible, socially beneficial, and economically sustainable forest management worldwide and has been an FSC® CoC (Chain of Custody) certificate holder since October 2019.
The FSC® CoC certification represents the confirmation of the care chain for the sustainable development of global forest resources and forest ecosystems, and with that the ecological balance of the planet at all. The FSC® label on the product designates products made from wood originating from responsibly managed forests and produced according to strict FSC criteria.
In addition to the production and processing of sawn timber, we also offer drying, steaming, and chemical treatment of wood, storage, and dispatch of wood and wood products. We mediate the organization of domestic and international cargo transport, as well as maritime and container transport. Our primary exports are directed at the African and Asian markets, and this long-standing cooperation resulted in us receiving the Golden Key award for the best exporter to the Egyptian market in 2021.
We are also recipients of the Golden Kuna plaque for the most successful trading company in the Karlovac County in 2021 (intermediate trading companies) and the Karlovac County plaque for 2022 for an outstanding contribution to initiating and developing economic activities in the Karlovac County. We also trade in the Croatian and European market.
